Genius Portal is a secure website that allows you to use a computer to interact with medical information via the internet. Genius Portal also allows you to communicate with your healthcare provider office via secure messaging. Please note that all communication via Genius Portal will be included in your permanent patient record.
Genius Portal is designed to improve physician and patient communication. Once you are registered as a patient and have provided us with your secure email you will be assigned a username and password. After you registered with Genius Portal, you will be allowed to: request medication refill, view your medical records, request appointments, access and use Direct communication regarding non-emergency concerns or questions, and fill out online paperwork.
GENIUS PORTAL IS NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE INTERNET BASED DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SERVICES. THE FOLLOWING LIMITATIONS APPLY:
No internet based triage and treatment requests. Diagnosis can only be made and treatment rendered after the patient is seen by the healthcare provider. No emergency communications or services. Any urgent conditions should be handled by calling the office directly, going to an urgent care clinic or emergency room, or calling 911 should the emergency be life threatening. No requests for narcotic/controlled medications will be accepted. No requests for new prescriptions or refills for conditions for which you are not being treated by our healthcare provider will be accepted. It may take 72 hours to receive a response to a message sent through Genius Portal. If you do not receive a response within 72 hours you should contact the office. If you lose your password or username, you may request a new one through Genius Portal or in person at the office by providing valid identification. Always remember to log out and close your browser when you are finished accessing password protected patient portal services. This prevents someone else from accessing your personal information.

We provide the Genius Portal to you as a Business Associate to your health care provider. As a Business Associate, we follow the rules that apply to Business Associates under HIPAA and the HITECH Act, as well as any other privacy and security rule surrounding your personal information that was agreed to between Genius Solutions Inc. and your healthcare provider.

We employ reasonable and current security methods to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information your account information and profile are password-protected. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. Our personnel will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited e-mail.
